I was born in 1983 in Alexandria, Virginia, to Taiwanese immigrants. I grew up in Central Florida, have a B.A. in journalism from New York University, and have taught writing in Sarah Lawrence College's MFA program. I'm the author of ten books (four novels, a memoir, a novella, a tweet-collection, a story-collection, two poetry-collections) and two ebooks. I edit Muumuu House and draw mandalas. I'm on Twitter and Instagram. I live in Hawaii.Â
I'm working on a nonfiction book titled Self Heal: How I Cured My Autism, Autoimmunity, Eczema, Depression, and Other Health Problems Naturally and an essay collection titled Life in Wartime. I'm represented by The Clegg Agency.
